In the Shadows of Orfano Hill, spells, potions and evocations are prepared - witches' duties. Metillia, however, also likes to have fun, sometimes at the expense of her own duties and obligations. Even knowing that there is little time left for the most important test of her career as a witch, she hasn't been able to get in control of her own destiny: now it is too late to start getting prepared, and the only possible outcome is disappointing her clan companions... But at the very last night, when there seems to be no hope for her, fate gives her with a meeting that may be able to turn the situation around. Or maybe not. Francis is a spirit, but he has a physical body: he can have fun, disintegrate and go back to nature, reassemble himself in whatever form he prefers. His favorite form is the one of a fox. Above all, Francis is lazy, petty and debauched. But time is running out, and the night is about to end...
