After saying some pretty embarrassing things to each other, Alya and Masachika are trying to …

I'd say that watching anime is more efficient way to learn what this is about. For me personally this novel has a bit too much fluff in the scripture. But I like characters, so I'll continue reading for now.

finished reading BLADE & BASTARD: Volume 2 by Kumo Kagyu (BLADE & BASTARD, #2)

Kumo Kagyu, so-bin: BLADE & BASTARD: Volume 2 (EBook, 2023, J-Novel Club)

Scorch marks blacken the wireframe dungeon, and the smell of burnt meat hangs in the …

This one was a bit boring. Or maybe it wasn't a good idea to listen to this book while going to sleep. But other series and volumes aren't boring when I read them the same way.

I guess it could be because of the lack of significant action. They prepare to slay the dragon then they walk a lot and then they slay it. And then it ends.

It was rather underwhelming development for me.

reviewed So I'm a Spider, So What?, Vol. 16 by Okina Baba (So I'm a Spider, So What? (light novel), #16)

Sacrifice the goddess to save humanity, or sacrifice humanity to save the goddess? …What kind …

This is the end.

The series finally ended.

The ending was... underwhelming.

The concept and some characters across the entire story were nice, but as a whole this series is kind of strange.

I'm not sure if I can recommend it. Not for brilliant storytelling at least.

Finally finished part of the story covered in anime.

It was and it still is quite confusing sometimes. The author have a specific maner of storytelling. I hope it'll become clearer later...

Majima Takahiro and his friends survive the ordeal inside the labyrinth and learn the truth …

Looks like it could also be the "final" volume which not concludes the story because there are problems with original (Japanese) light novel publication. The story from web novel requires ~2 more volumes to be properly concluded. And there was no light novel volume since 2020.

That's sad.
